| In 1995, with the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials,
we accomplished research on "the soldering method of metal materials
by the spraying film of soldering materials and on the soldering parent
metals for the purpose" and obtained patent for this invention.
Since then we have consistently invested in research and development
and have been carrying out joint projects with the industry, the academy
and the research institute. Especially we are laying a plan for a project
to develop new high-functioning alloy materials in cooperation with
a copper research institute in Moscow and we are currently promoting
to establish a new institute to facilitate such research and development
projects. |

| We, Wonilsa Co.,Ltd. succeeded in our efforts to produce internally
OFHC copper and OFHC silver-bearing copper. Previously all of these materials
had to be imported. In 2001, we won 'award of excellence'(for the technology
of producing OFHC silver-bearing copper for high-speed commutators) of
the Minister of commerce, Industry and Energy at the 2001 New Tech Korea.
Wonilsa Co.,Ltd. contributed to raise the technological level of the part
material industry, a key industry of a nation. |
